Polymerated linseed oil (Stand oil) in comparison with the normal linseed oil, polymerated linseed oil dries up more quickly and gets significantly less yellow. This is the reason for which it is suitable for dilution of oil colours. Its dense consistence can be altered by the addition of turpentine 3221.
