Umton Kerotix

Kerotix is a wax varnish paste designed for oil paintings and distemper, providing a protective, matte, and soft finish to your artwork. It is applied using a pad (taft) or the palm of the hand after the painting is completed.

Once applied, the painting should be placed in sunlight or exposed to moderate heat for a period, allowing Kerotix to absorb into the surface. This varnish offers excellent protection against harmful vapors and gases.

Additionally, Kerotix can be used as "painter���s butter" without causing darkening, and is an essential tool for restoration artists, especially for mounting paintings onto new canvas and safeguarding the reverse side of artworks.
